The TIE² International Lab is a project to bring products and ideas of high-tech pioneers from Germany to China and vice versa. TIE² offers the necessary network, but also coaching and training on cultural differences are offered.
The cooperation of the TU-Munich with Tsinghua University in Beijing and its Entrepreneurship Centers “UnternehmerTUM” and “Tsinghua X-lab” led to the visit of Chinese students, scientists and founding teams at fos4X in Munich. We are especially happy to have hosted this event this year and met so many motivated and innovative people.
Moritz of fos4X: “I am pleased that two years after my participation in the TIE² International Lab there is still such a good contact to the program and we could welcome this year’s participants at fos4X with the foundation of our Chinese subsidiary”.
The aim of this meeting was to experience both technical and cultural exchange. The similarities and differences between German and Chinese market conditions and start-up cultures could be compared and discussed here. The opening of our office in Beijing, the associated motivations and challenges as well as the solutions we took were also the focus of interest.
