fos4X supports the team of its partner company Thales, which starts a Three-Peaks-Fund-Raising campaign, with a donation of 430 pounds. The money raised will be donated to Railway Children, an organisation helping street children in need. Team Thales is aiming for a fundraising volume of 3500 pounds.
For this campaign, Team Thales, consisting of 5 employees of Thales, climbs the three highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland within 36 hours. Difficult terrain, numerous meters of altitude travelled and – due to the tight time frame – little sleep characterize the route.
The efforts made will benefit Railway Children in particular by making the lives of young street children in England, India and Africa easier with the help of the raised money. Children can leave street life behind by being reunited with their families and by finding safe places to have an easier, carefree childhood.
Sabrina Naußedat from team Thales:
“We want to draw attention to those who need our help – children.
Children who are not doing so well.
Children who lack a home.”
Since 1995, Railway Children Charity has helped several thousand children living alone or on the streets out of their misery.
Team Thales is setting a good example – and we are part of it!
