Persistently strong growth leads to increased staffing requirements
Munich, March 19, 2018 – The consistent focus on innovative and market-oriented solutions for the optimization of wind energy secures the positive corporate development and leads to sustained strong growth and increased staffing requirements.
Success through market-relevant solutions
We develop and sell fiber optic sensors and measuring instruments for main use in rotor blades of wind turbines. The core business is not limited to the provision of measurement technology, but intelligent complete solutions for the optimization of wind turbines are developed. This focus on market-relevant applications explains the continued growth and has resulted in the fos4X customer base already being ranked among the top 10 major equipment manufacturers worldwide.
Evolvement of the fos4X Portfolios
In addition to some exciting development projects outside the wind industry, today our sensors and measuring devices are 100% geared for use in rotor blades or in the hub of wind turbines. Because of this, and due to the ever-increasing quantities, we are also able to produce our hardware cost-effectively and competitively.
At the same time, our products must always meet the goal of optimizing wind energy. This goal can be achieved in several ways. The most effective levers in our case are the reduction of OPEX and the increase of the AEP as well as an extension or reliable estimation of turbine lifetime.
Rising staffing requirements
The need for personnel also increases as a result of this development and therefore employees are constantly being sought in the areas of software development and data analysis as well as wind energy experts.
“In the south of Munich on the Isar, we offer a modern workplace in a young, innovative high-tech company with flat structures and short decision-making paths.”
Says Alexander Blum, Head of Human Resource and continues:
“fos4X offers a high degree of self-determination and co-determination, and the continued strong growth provides the best opportunities for development. This leads to a huge motivation in the workforce, which impresses me again and again.”
New premises for production and service
Since March, there are also new premises with 20 additional office workstations and 10 production workplaces, which are currently being occupied.
“It’s great that we got the opportunity to get more space right here on our company premises in Munich and we can continue to grow without hindrance.“
Says Alexander Blum.
