Inductive sensor consists of a spring-mass system.
If acceleration is applied to the sensor, the magnetic mass immerge the inductor and generates a voltage.
The picture above shows an inductive based acceleration sensor. A change of the immerging depth of the magnetic seismic mass generates a measurable voltage in the inductive.
This sensor is not able to static because only a change of the immerging depth generated a measurable voltage.
